MGM Timber has launched a partnership with kitchen specialist Magnet, providing an expanded product range of over 250 kitchens with accelerated lead times for trade customers.
During an initial 12-month trial, Magnet’s kitchen collection is now available at the MGM Timber Clydebank branch, with the Wishaw and Broxburn showrooms expected in early 2024.
Magnet’s range of kitchens are said to offer trade customers greater product and design choices, including contemporary and traditional styles across a spectrum of different colours and finishes. MGM said the partnership will also ‘significantly’ reduce lead times, with selected ranges available in as little as one week and two to three weeks for made to order ranges.
The showrooms will feature a selection of contemporary slab doors and traditional shaker styles, available in several painted and timber finishes. A variety of work surfaces will also be available, from laminate to solid surfaces, including Silestone, Dekton, and Corian.
Gerry Watson, CEO of interiors at Donaldson Group, said, “As our first partnership trial of this kind, this collaboration marks a significant milestone for both organisations. The strength of our trusted brand and our relationships with the trade, combined with Magnet’s retail and consumer expertise will undoubtedly create exciting growth opportunities.”
Paul Strong, store operations director, at Magnet, added, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with MGM Timber, a distinguished name in Scotland’s timber industry. At Magnet, it’s important we find partners who reflect the same values as us and MGM’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, quality and expertise aligns seamlessly.”
