BARRATT Developments raised £25,772 for a poverty relief charity in the north of Scotland at its recent charity dinner.
The housebuilder welcomed 220 guests to the Chester Hotel in Aberdeen for an event sponsored by Raeburn Christine Clark & Wallace and hosted by George Walker OBE. Attendees included subcontractors, suppliers and partner agencies, who enjoyed an auction and raffle, a performance from singer Emily Fordyce during a three-course dinner, an interactive game, and entertainment from DJ Blu Promotions.
All proceeds from the evening went to CFINE (Community Food Initiatives North East), which provides support and services for disadvantaged, vulnerable and low income individuals, families and communities in Scotland’s north east.
Barratt Developments has raised a total of £40,000 for CFINE, the firm’s charity of the year, through the dinner, staff taking part in the Aberdeen Kilt walk, and the annual Barratt North Scotland Charity Golf Day.
