TAYLOR Wimpey West Scotland has announced it intends to make a planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for around 137 new homes through the development of land west of Carnbroe Road, Coatbridge.
This parcel of land forms part of the wider Carnbroe development where Planning Permission in Principal is already in place, and is allocated for development within the Local Development Plan (LDP).
Ahead of a planning application early next year, the housebuilder is hosting a public consultation event on Wednesday 6 December from 5pm-8pm at the Riverbank Community Hub in Coatbridge to keep the local community informed of its proposals. This follows a previous event held earlier this month.

They allow us to discuss our development proposals for the area directly with key stakeholders and members of the local community, and this allows us to consider their views as we develop our emerging scheme.
“Our in-person event on Wednesday 6 December is an ideal opportunity for members of the local community of Carnbroe to meet our design team to find out more about our proposals. For those who attend, we also encourage them to complete our feedback forms. For those unable to join us in person, full details about our proposals and an opportunity to leave feedback will also be available on our website.
