More award success for Barratt site managers

TWO site managers from Barratt Developments East Scotland have been recognised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) for excellence in on-site management for developments in Edinburgh.

Ewan MacLean (Cammo Meadows) from Stirling and Barrie Mitchell (West Craigs) from Inverkeithing were awarded with a ‘Seal of Excellence’ at the 2023 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.

The achievement adds to earlier awards success, with both winners also receiving a Pride in the Job Quality Award from the NHBC in June, marking them down as among the best in the country.

Alison Condie, MD of Barratt and David Wilson Homes East Scotland, said, “The exemplary work carried out by both Barrie and Ewan across our Edinburgh developments is a testament to our status as a five-star housebuilder. I’m glad their efforts have been recognised and awarded, showing what it takes to be a top site manager and to give our customers high-quality homes. We take great pride in winning these awards for 19 years in a row here in Scotland.”

This year alone, Barratt has won 96 Quality Awards, more than any other housebuilder. It has also been awarded 30 Seals of Excellence awards.

Ewan MacLean said, “I’m incredibly proud to have won this award. It’s a great feeling to be recognised as one of the best site managers in the country and across the UK due to my work at Cammo Meadows. Winning this award along with such a committed team in East Scotland just shows the incredible work we’re doing to ensure customers move into their dream homes.”
