Aberdeenshire site managers celebrate prestigious award wins

FOUR site managers from Barratt Developments North Scotland have been recognised by the National House Building Council (NHBC) for excellence in on-site management for developments in Aberdeenshire.

Allan Barclay, of the Charleston Green development in Cove; Scott O’Donnell, Westburn Gardens build in Aberdeen; Victoria Chalmers, of the Hopecroft View development in Bucksburn; and Barry Cooper, of the Osprey Heights build in Inverurie were all awarded with a Seal of Excellence at the 2023 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.

The awards, organised by the warranty and insurance provider for new homes, aim to recognise the outstanding performance and achievement of the country’s best site managers.

David Palmer, MD of Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Scotland, said, “The exemplary work carried out by the winners across our Aberdeenshire developments is a testament to our status as a five-star house builder. I’m glad their efforts have been recognised and awarded, showing what it takes to be a top site manager and to give our customers high-quality homes. We take great pride in winning these awards for 19 years in a row here in Scotland.”

Victoria Chalmers added, “I’m incredibly proud to have won this award. It’s a great feeling to be recognised as one of the best site managers in the country and across the UK due to my work at Hopecroft View. Winning this award along with such a committed team in North Scotland just shows the incredible work we’re doing to ensure customers move into their dream homes.”
