Modular housing specialist celebrates double recognition at property awards

THE Wee House Company is celebrating a double success at the 2023 Herald Property Awards.

The modular housing specialist was crowned Property Team of the Year and received a highly commended accolade in the Best Family Home (Large) category for its Caldwell View build.

Judges noting that they were particularly impressed by the housebuilder’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Wee House Company team designed and manufactured a four-bedroom bespoke home in Uplawmoor, East Renfrewshire. The 215 sqm home boasts an open plan kitchen-dining-living area, office, utility room, and multiple bathrooms. The home, which was made unique with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove, showcases the potential of the modular construction process and what can be achieved using The Wee House Company’s turnkey service.

All Wee Houses are manufactured off-site in The Wee House Company’s Ayrshire factory before being transported to site. The modules are described as being completed to exacting quality standards in the factory with approximately 90% of works finalised before transportation to site, including installations of kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing and electrics.
