DRUM Property Group has released new aerial photography of its G3 Square development in Finnieston, Glasgow, following the completion of the final phase of construction.
The drone images show the site’s proximity to the neighbouring SSE Hydro, Scottish Event Campus and the SWG3 entertainment venues – as well as being a short walk to a variety of bars, restaurants and shops.
Drum has now completed G3 Square with the delivery of a £31 million build-to-rent development for Edmund de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management. This latest phase of the development, located on Minerva Street next to the Exhibition Centre Station, provides 113 apartments for rent and adds to the first development phase of 108 private apartments for sale, which was completed in 2021.
G3 Square now comprises three separate buildings, ranging to six storeys and offering a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses. The development’s energy is supplied using a community heating and energy centre.
Graeme Bone, group MD of Drum, said, “G3 Square’s location, high-quality accommodation and sustainable energy provision has created significant interest from buyers and tenants. The building’s design echoes the height and feel of nearby traditional sandstone buildings and crescents, with contemporary interiors, landscaped outdoor areas and dedicated car and cycle parking spaces.
“Drum Property Group is now looking forward to finishing and delivering more much-needed homes for local people across our other build-to-rent projects throughout the country.”
