Also in Aberdeen is a former seven-bedroom care home at 43 King’s Gate. A traditional detached granite building set over three floors, the property offers scope for conversion to residential use, subject to planning, at a guide price of £199,000. Both properties are being sold on behalf of Aberdeen City Council.

Acting on behalf of Forestry & Land Scotland, the auction features two areas of land in Torinturk and Dalmally. Site 3 in Torinturk is located adjacent to the main road through the village with Dalmally described as a popular destination for tourists seeking outdoor pursuits. Guide prices are £5,000 and £7,000.

Located at the edge of Ecclefechan, Lockerbie and adjacent to Junction 19 of the A74, is over six acres of agricultural land and woodland. With a guide price of £25,000, the land is being sold on behalf of Transport Scotland.

Steve Barnett, managing partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said, “Auctions offer the ability to sell all types of commercial property through our expansive network while being able to offer transparency and simplicity of the process. But our offering goes further in that we can offer the local market advice from our in-house team of chartered surveyors.”

The live-streamed auction takes place on Thursday 7th September at 2.30pm. The process involves the posting of various lots online for which the auctioneer invites pre-authorised buyers to post bids via a live broadcast.
