Cala to launch 170-home Kirkintilloch development

CALA Homes (West) is set to launch its latest development in Kirkintilloch, with the 170-home Weaver’s Brae site launching off-plan on October 7.

Located off Market Road, the East Dunbartonshire development will feature a total of 16 different house types, including two brand new offerings: the Abbott and the Abbey, both one-bedroom additions never seen before in the west of Scotland.

Cala revealed the Weaver’s Brae development will launch a community pledge showing its commitment to the local area, and will be one of the first west of Scotland developments to incorporate bird and bat boxes, bee bricks and green corridors.

Louise Dunn, marketing manager for Cala Homes (West), said, “East Dunbartonshire is a highly popular place for those looking for somewhere to call home, so we are delighted to launch another development in this highly sought-after address. Weaver’s Brae offers the best of both worlds as it enjoys a gorgeous semi-rural setting whilst also being within easy reach to the city and beyond.

“With brand-new house types launching including our one-bedroom cottage homes , there is a variety of different home styles to suit all types of buyers looking to buy new, and we’ve seen plenty of excitement surrounding the forthcoming first release.”

The first phase of homes released will be launched off-plan at Cala’s Jordanhill Park development in Glasgow’s west end on October 7.
