PERI has installed Photovoltaic (PV) cells at its three logistics depots in the UK as part of the firm’s climate protection strategy.
The solar panel project kicked off at PERI’S site in Glasgow, before moving onto its HQ in Rugby and then the flagship depot in Brentwood.
The Glasgow project went live at the beginning of June. Since then, PERI said an average of 88% of all energy used on site comes from the PV system. The company has produced 34,000 kwh of renewable energy.
The Rugby site went live towards the end of June, with an average of 80% of all energy used coming from the PV system.
The Brentwood site solar project was completed earlier this month, with PERI revealing it is looking forward to seeing the results.
