PERI employees tackle Big Hike Challenge in Loch Lomond

EMPLOYEES from PERI UK’s Glasgow office recently participated in the Big Hike Challenge in Loch Lomond for Cancer Research UK, the company’s chosen charity of the year.

The 26.2-mile hike is one of three events organised by Cancer Research UK that PERI is participating in.

Employees from Cidon Construction teamed up with PERI for the event to raise money as part of their ‘Making a Difference’ campaign.

Together, both companies have raised over £10,800, which includes the funds raised from PERI’s participation in the South Coast Big Hike event earlier this month.

Martin Richardson, PERI sales manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland, added, “It was fantastic to complete the hike alongside the team at Cidon Construction. We’re extremely pleased with the amount we’ve managed to raise.

“Cancer is an illness that has the potential to affect every one us in some way throughout our lifetime. It’s rewarding to be able to give back and support the work the charity is doing. Well done to everyone who took part.”
