MAXI Construction has secured five contracts from The City of Edinburgh Council for school alteration and refurbishment works, worth over £4 million in total.
Classroom alterations will be delivered at Boroughmuir High over the summer holidays, along with kitchen alterations at Hermitage Park Primary. Work has also started at Granton Primary for the provision of upgraded toilet facilities.
A larger refurbishment project at Parsons Green Primary includes roofing upgrades, window replacement, and M&E tasks including solar PV panels and new toilet facilities.
Finally, enabling works at Wester Hailes High, in preparation for a new school extension, include classroom reconfigurations, furniture decants, MEP alterations, services diversions, demolition of three blocks, and the construction of a new haul road including a concrete retaining wall.
