CALA Homes (West)’ Jordanhill Park development in Glasgow was described as the ‘perfect backdrop’ for a dog training event hosted by the housebuilder outside the former teacher training college.

The David Stow building inspired the Scottish Insta Dogs meet-up after Cala and the social media group teamed up to invite dogs and their owners to take part in a school-themed event.

Dogs of all sizes and breeds were encouraged to take part in training sessions with Wonderland Dog Training and Sal’s Pals. Once training was complete, the dogs ‘graduated’ in style in front of the iconic building.

The pooches went home with goodie bags full of toys and treats including from well-known Glasgow pet brand, Opie’s Emporium, whilst Cala also donated balls, rope toys and treats to local charity, Give a Dog a Bone.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director of Cala Homes (West), said, “Our first event with Scottish Insta Dogs was a resounding success as we welcomed many dogs and their owners to the parklands of Jordanhill Park. It was brilliant to be able to partner up with this sociable group and we really hope it encourages more people to enjoy the gorgeous open space we have within the community – it’s one of the many benefits of living within Jordanhill Park and the wider area.

“To be able to donate a couple of boxes of dog toys and treats to Give a Dog a Bone, which is a fantastic Glasgow-based charity, was the perfect way to end this occasion. We know the donation will be very much enjoyed!”

Jordanhill Park, Cala’s flagship development in the west of Scotland, offers new-build apartments, penthouses and three-bedroom townhouses.
