Connect Modular’s Dundonald development

CONNECT Modular, part of The Wee House Group, has been appointed to the LHC Procurement Group’s (LHC) new modern methods of construction (MMC) of new homes framework.

The four-year framework, which is now live and worth £1.2 billion, is designed to provide an efficient, value for money procurement route for local authorities, social landlords, and other public sector bodies for the development of new build housing projects and associated works.

Craig Vesey, business development manager at Connect Modular, commented, “We are delighted to be appointed to the LHC NH3 Framework. This is an exciting opportunity for us to work with our clients to deliver affordable housing with all the quality, environmental and programme benefits our volumetric modular process offers. We look forward to bringing our collaborative approach to a new set of projects and clients through this framework.”

Connect Modular, whose properties are all constructed off-site, said that the appointment to the framework is a ‘major boost’ for the company and is ‘clear recognition’ of its expertise in the industry. It added that the framework will make it easier for clients to work with Connect Modular and gives assurance of their capabilities following a stringent evaluation process.
