ROSYTH-based flooring contractor Advanced Traditional Screeding (ATS) was named Medium Business of the Year at the 2023 Fife Business Awards, held at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.

The award was open to any company in Fife with between 11 and 50 employees that has been trading for over two years and can demonstrate it has delivered significant performance achievements and improvements.

ATS is a floor screeding, resin, underfloor heating and consulting business which works across the UK to assist clients with pre-construction and construction flooring requirements.

Five months ago, the company took delivery of Scotland’s first Putzmeister Transmix truck as part of an expansion programme, which also saw the establishment of ENERGYSCREED, a new low carbon, non-combustible insulation, UFH and flowing screed division of the business.

ATS recently announced a partnership with Italian manufacturing specialist Giacomini, becoming the first Scottish company to link up with the producer of underfloor and ceiling heating and cooling systems.

MD Jason Lister said, “It’s an amazing achievement for all the team. It’s fantastic recognition for all the hard work put in by so many and I couldn’t be prouder. Well done to all the other winners on what was a great evening at an iconic venue.”
