CLARK Contracts has announced it has been awarded a third consecutive Order of Distinction in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)’s Health and Safety Awards 2023.
To receive this accolade, business must demonstrate excellent occupational health and safety management systems, a rigorous approach to occupational health, a continued high level of performance, and compliance with control measures.
The award was presented to Paisley-based Clark Contracts during a ceremony at Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central.
MD Gordon Cunningham said, “We are committed to continually improving health and safety performance throughout the company, and this recognition from one of the most highly respected occupational awards for a 17th consecutive year reinforces this commitment.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s achievements director, commented, “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded.
“We are thrilled that Clark Contracts has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
