HB Projects has announced the promotion of Paul Waugh to joint MD, following four years as commercial director at the firm.
The contractor, which has a base in Livingston, specialises in work in the retail sector with it accounting for over 80% of its turnover in the last three years. The business has diversified in recent years to also operate in industrial/distribution, automotive, food production, and EV charging.
The promotion of Paul Waugh was announced by HB Projects’ group MD, Ed Beck, who said, “Since joining the business some 12-and-a-half years ago, Paul has shown unwavering dedication, combined with sheer hard work and professionalism in every role and task he has carried out. Paul’s appointment is a logical step in the future growth of the business, having been at the heart of our business planning and strategy as a member of the board.”
Commenting on his new role, Paul Waugh added, “I am delighted to take on the role of joint managing director at HB Projects and steering the business towards an exciting future. As the business enters its 30th year, my vision is to continue to work in partnership with both clients, design teams and our supply chain, building on the existing strengths of our teams while seeking to attract the brightest talent.”
