Maxi lands £1.6m Stirling school extension project

MAXI Construction has secured a £1.6 million contract to deliver an extension to Borestone Primary School in Stirling.

The single-storey extension will provide two classrooms and multi-use space. Refurbishment work will also be carried out to some areas of the existing school building.

The contract was awarded by Stirling Council.

John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s MD, said, “The award of this contract enables us to build on our existing relationship with Stirling Council for the delivery of new and upgraded education facilities.”

The project team includes principal designer Gardiner & Theobald, architect Norr, quantity surveyor Robinson Low Francis, civil and structural engineer WSP, and services engineer Hoare Lea.
