SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has announced a raft of promotions across its residential and commercial operations in Scotland.

The firm has promoted to partner level David Breingan who heads Saltcoats, Jon Thomson in Perth, and Ross MacDonald in Inverness.

Additionally, the partnership has promoted eight surveyors to associate level.

Five new associate promotions specialising in residential and home report advisory services are Aberdeen-based Andrew Sinclair and Steven Wilson, Hamilton-based Jack Crichton, Motherwell-based Liam Quinn, and Stirling-based Keiran Bonner.

The three new commercial associates are Aberdeen-based Ewan Robertson, Edinburgh-based Emily Anderson, and Inverness-based Stephen Thomas.

Shepherd said the promotions reflect recent growth and are intended to deliver on succession planning.

George Brewster, senior partner, said, “First and foremost, these promotions are testimony to the tremendous contribution made by these individuals to clients and the firm over an extended period. Congratulations to each of them.

“However, these internal appointments are also testimony to the substantial investment the firm commits to our graduate academy and training programme which currently accommodates around 60 candidates in Shepherd and our construction services business Hardies, believed to be one of the largest in the UK. This not only promotes the RICS and the profession in Scotland, but ensures the longevity of our business with significant career opportunity available within our traditional partnership structure.”
