FIFE-based TJ Ross has manufactured and supplied a wide range of timber windows and doors for a builder client for a stunning extension project in Edinburgh.
The project included a large bay window of four sash and case windows, casement windows with astragals, fully glazed and partially glazed external doors, and a large screen.
Unusually shaped casement windows were installed to a large study with a coombed ceiling, along with a straight bay of windows.
To complete the look, a large hexagon glazed cupola was lifted and craned in, over the two-and-a-half storey house and parked onto a preformed roof aperture and glazed all in one day.
TJ Ross has also been commissioned to provide 70 sash and case timber windows to an A-listed building, Custom House, on Dundee’s waterfront. The project will bring the building back into use, with works already underway on the renovation.
