Cruden lands role on new build housing framework

CRUDEN Building Scotland has announced it has been appointed as a leading contractor for new build housing in Scotland by Link Housing.

The four-year construction framework is said to offer Link and partners a ‘sleeker and more effective’ route for procurement, allowing them to access the skills of specialist companies from across the sector in a streamlined manner.

By securing its place on the framework, Cruden revealed it has consolidated a long-standing relationship with Link Housing. The developer will offer its services to a variety of projects ranging in value from £2 million to £30 million.

Cruden’s appointment follows a procurement process undertaken by Link which assesses the quality and value for money elements offered by companies.

Gordon Lee, partnering and procurement director at Cruden, said, “It’s a pleasure to have been appointed to the Link Housing framework as a go-to contractor for housing projects across Scotland. At Cruden, we put a great deal of effort into helping clients to bridge the current affordable housing gap by building more homes to suit everyone.

“Link Housing is closely aligned to our values and beliefs. We look forward to continuing to create new homes and new opportunities alongside all our framework partners.”

Cruden Building’s Framework portfolio also includes the SPA New Build Housing Construction H2 framework, Scotland Excel and Tier 1B contractor status on both the hub South West Scotland and hub West Scotland Frameworks and the recently created hub South East Framework.
