A new flexible workspace, operated by Regus, is opening at Craigshaw Business Park in Aberdeen as demand for hybrid working soars.

IWG, a provider of flexible workspace, said ‘unprecedented demand’ for hybrid working solutions means the firm is aiming to add 1,000 new locations over the next year. The Pavillion 5 site will be another addition to the Regus portfolio in Aberdeen, which already includes 1, Marischal Square in the city centre.

The new Regus location, opening in March 2023, will include meeting rooms and co-working and creative spaces across two floors, spanning over 9,300 square metres.

Mark Dixon, CEO & founder of IWG, said, “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Aberdeen with this latest opening. As an important business hub particularly for oil and gas industries, the city is a logical choice for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal.

“Our opening in Aberdeen comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”
