BREEDON Scotland has raised thousands of pounds for the Lighthouse Club Charity following the group’s annual golf event at Gleneagles.

Ten teams of four comprising customers, stakeholders and Breedon staff took part on the day. The individual winner was Grant Shewan from GPH Builders Merchants and the team winners were Alvar Kenwell from I&H Brown, Ian Oliver from BCJ Construction, Iain Murray from BEAR Scotland, and Kevin Carmichael from Breedon.

Alan Mackenzie, MD of Breedon Scotland, said, “We are delighted to have been able to raise funds for the Lighthouse Club Charity again this year. This is a cause close to our hearts, and we are proud to be able to help the Lighthouse Club provide assistance for colleagues throughout the construction industry.

“This year, we raised £4,500 on top of the £8,537.17 which was raised at last year’s event and my grateful thanks go to everyone who supported the day.”
