ICB (Waterproofing) Ltd has announced it has relocated its Scotland branch to a new unit in Coatbridge following ‘continual growth’.
Previously based in Bellshill, the ICB Scotland branch was opened in 2015 to accommodate growing business in the north, supporting the capabilities of its Dorset HQ. The company said it has since outgrown the site, prompting the move to larger premises earlier this year.
The Coatbridge branch has been refurbished and kitted out, providing warehouse space for holding ICB’s range of waterproofing materials and accessories, including alwitra single ply membranes, STRATA reinforced bitumen membranes and the FLEET PMMA liquid waterproofing system.
ICB added that the additional space has also allowed the firm to expand its fabrication capabilities through sister company ICB (Fabrications) Ltd. To begin with, the Scotland unit will be manufacturing EVA-coated metal profiles and hopes to widen the scope to additional products in the future.
A large training area with a learning space for covering theory and another for practical rig training has also been incorporated into the branch. Additionally, there is a small conference room for meetings as well as CPD seminars for local specifiers.
ICB said the Scotland unit has provided employment for a number of locals and the business is in the process of expanding the team further.
