STEWART Milne Group has won two NHBC Pride in the Job awards for developments in Scotland and north west England.
The firm’s Ballumbie Rise development in Dundee and The Stables project in Cheshire received the awards for consistently high standards of customer care. Site managers Barry Kane and Dave Whitley were also commended for their leadership, construction quality, and successful delivery of high-quality homes.
Under the management of Barry Kane, Ballumbie Road is located within a Dundee suburb, with the firm saying it boasts ‘fantastic’ transport links with the city. It was recently awarded its first internal development award for high-level care and customer service quality, and since its launch, both the NHBC and In-house survey scores for customer satisfaction have been at 100%.
At the multi award-winning The Stables development in Cheshire, site manager Dave Whitley is celebrating his sixth consecutive Pride in the Job award.
Gerry More, group MD at Stewart Milne Group, said, “To receive two Pride in the Job quality awards is a fantastic achievement, especially coming off the back of a tough two years for the construction industry. These awards honour the highest quality workmanship and construction quality. Congratulations to Barry and Dave on these worthy wins.”
Commenting on the Awards, NHBC chief executive Steve Wood said, “For more than 40 years, Pride in the Job has been an important part of our work to help drive construction quality. Winning site managers tell us that it inspires them to give a little extra and to strive harder for ever-higher standards of house building.
“At NHBC we believe that the calibre of the site manager and the way they inspire their site team has the greatest influence on the quality of the finished home. By promoting friendly rivalry, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence, Pride in the Job supports the delivery of homes of the highest quality.
“Congratulations to all the 2022 Pride in the Job Quality Award winners. They are an inspiration to us all and should be very proud of the quality of new homes they are creating.”
