Federation of Master Builders staff raise £2,340 for Ukraine

FEDERATION of Master Builders (FMB) staff have raised £2,340 in aid of emergency support for the people of Ukraine.

The funds will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Brian Berry, chief executive of the FMB, said, “Colleagues at the FMB have been deeply affected by the horrific consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They wanted to do their bit to support those whose homes have been damaged, and who have been displaced by the conflict.

“Small builders in the UK are feeling the knock-on consequences of the war which has become another factor in ever rising prices for essential building materials. While the FMB is giving a voice to builders here and helping them to communicate the impacts of inflation with their clients, we also felt strongly that we wanted to do something to help rebuild Ukraine as well.”
