CCG Asset Management begins ‘major’ kitchen replacement project in East Lothian

CCG Asset Management has commenced a ‘major’ kitchen replacement contract on behalf of East Lothian Council.

A total of 300 properties in Trannent, Musselburgh, and Haddington are to benefit from new kitchens and associated decorative works that will be undertaken over year.

The contract was procured via Procurement for Housing (PfH) Scotland and is the first to be undertaken by CCG in the region. Forming a ‘major part’ of the company’s maintenance programme leading into 2023, the works will be in addition to window and door installation, boiler replacements, and bathroom upgrades that are presently being delivered across Scotland.

CCG Asset Management manager, Jim Cunningham, said, “Kitchen replacements are very much our bread and butter and we are delighted to get underway in East Lothian working on behalf of the Council. The impact of works for each resident will be mitigated by a swift and efficient installation process that will be managed by our dedicated site and Tennant Liaison staff.  We look forward to working with residents and the community over the next year.”

An East Lothian Council spokesperson added, “We are happy to be working with CCG on this contract which, alongside the wider support of our excellent in-house team, will deliver over 600 new kitchen installs and ensure a high-quality service for our tenants.”
