Luxury Glasgow site to combine old with the new

CCG Homes has announced the launch of a new luxury housing development in Newlands in Glasgow’s south side.

Calderwood Lodge comprises 20 two and three-bedroom homes that will involve a mix of Victorian conversion and new build construction.

The developer revealed it has retained an 1800s Victorian sandstone villa that will be upgraded to allow four apartments including a two-bedroom duplex. A new build extension comprising a three-bedroom Mews-style house is also included alongside 15 new build apartments, including two penthouses, within a four-storey block that will provide views across Newlands Park.

The site boasts private and communal amenity space and car parking with future Electric Vehicle (EV) charging capability. CCG Homes that all homes will be designed to an ‘enhanced’ standard of build to reduce heat loss and improve energy performance.
