BELLWAY Homes Ltd (Scotland West) has committed to supporting the return of Newmains & District Gala Week after a two-year absence with a £200 donation towards the event.
Celebrating its 49th year, the celebration has been unable to take place for the past two years due to the pandemic but will return on Sunday 5 June with a Big Lunch as part of UK’s official Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The week-long activities will culminate with the Gala Day, taking place on Saturday 11 June featuring a parade ending at Crindledyke Playing Fields.
Pauline Coates, sales director, Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West), said, “We’re all grateful to see a return to community events, especially gala events which are well attended and key to bringing everyone together. We’re delighted to be able to support the gala charity which I’m sure will be a terrific week of great events.”
Bellway Homes will unveil a new residential development on Main Street in Newmains later this summer. Called Eastview, the site will feature a collection of three and four-bedroom homes.
