WHITEBURN Projects has said it believes its recent award success will underpin the growth of its residential business.

The company was named SME House Builder of the Year 2022 by Homes for Scotland at the trade body’s annual lunch and awards ceremony.

Whiteburn MD Eve McCurrich said, “Winning this year’s Homes for Scotland SME House Builder of the Year 2022 is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the Whiteburn Projects team. We have been able to showcase our ethos and approach at our award-winning Caerlee Mill development, which is the first project that Whiteburn Projects Ltd was responsible for the design, construction and sales process.

“This industry recognition will undoubtedly underpin the growth of our residential business. We have not only built an award-winning development at Caerlee Mill, we have also created an award-winning team of dedicated staff, subcontractors, suppliers and we are very proud to have been recognised as going the extra mile by the judges who are our peers in the industry.”

Whiteburn’s next development will see the delivery of 87 private and affordable homes at the former Viewforth School site in Kirkcaldy, where construction works are already underway and the first new homes already sold.

Whiteburn Group has secured investment from Housing Growth Partnership with an injection of £1.5 million from its newly created £300 million property fund for SME developers.
