New Kirkcaldy homes poised to breathe new life into ex-school site

CONSTRUCTION work has started on Whiteburn’s development of 72 new two, three and four-bedroom properties and 15 affordable homes in the grounds of the former Viewforth High School in Kirkcaldy.

MD Eve McCurrich said, “Our key objective is to breathe new life into this part of Kirkcaldy and to create a great place for people to live. The regeneration of the land shows our commitment to sustainable development.

“We are now in the process of putting Viewforth back on the map. This is a very exciting
time for the team and the local community as we get this project underway in earnest. We have had a fantastic level of interest from local people registering interest to buy a home at Viewforth.”

Whiteburn Group has secured investment from Housing Growth Partnership (HGP) with an injection of £1.5 million from its newly created £300 million property fund for SME developers.
