GLASGOW-based built environment climate tech firm Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) has announced it has made four senior appointments.
The new hires have been tipped to help the business, which achieved 134% growth last year, to speed up its mission to decarbonise the built environment on a global scale. The company revealed it aims to do this through its suite of tools, known as the Intelligent Communities Lifecycle, which facilitate the planning, design and operation of energy efficient and sustainable cities, communities and buildings.
Sam Cummings has been appointed as an associate director and head of product. He joins the team to take charge of IES’s ICL digital twin product suite and scale it into the market. Sam was previously product manager for TEKLA structures.
Yann Grynberg joins as head of ICL partnerships. Yann was previously a board member of the Singapore Green Building Council. Based in Singapore, IES said Yann’s new role will enable him to identify new market segments, applications and business models, and develop IES with partners in the Asia region and globally. He will develop and lead a team of professionals to deploy ICL solutions on a worldwide scale.
Richard Fletcher has been appointed as global sales director, having previously been business area director for Trimble Buildings. Richard has 25 years of experience working within the construction and construction software industries, and for more than 20 of these he has been involved with the digital transformation of the built environment.
Bojan Andjelkovic has been appointed business development manager, bringing 29 years of experience in building mechanical systems design, energy management, and modelling of buildings. Bojan will be based in Vancouver, Canada and his new role will entail developing the ICL business in North America and providing market feedback on the software to the marketing and sales team.
Don McLean, founder and CEO of IES, said, “Yann, Bojan, Richard, and Sam are great additions to our team, who all join us at a very exciting time for the business as we aspire to accelerate our growth to achieve our mission of decarbonising the built environment globally. All of them will play a key role in helping us to accomplish this task, and bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise to assist in navigating the road to net zero.”
