MULHOLLAND Contracts has announced plans to recruit 50 new staff members in the run up to the firm’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2024.
Ahead of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2022, the West Lothian-based business revealed more than 20 new apprentices will be in place by the end of this year. Roles will be spread across the groundworks, surfacing, and multi utilities divisions.
Finance director Kevin Breen said, “Despite the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve continued to recruit and attract brilliant people into our business.
“With the 50th anniversary in two years we have set a target of increasing the number of employees by 50. It’s a very exciting time to join us at Mulholland.”
Mulholland Contracts provides services primarily for the housebuilding sector. The company directly employs 400 staff and has a turnover of £40 million.
