GROUNDFORCE Shorco has announced the addition of a new groundwater management option to YourSolution, the firm’s design tool for temporary works.
YourSolution v1.2 has been launched to help customers include information where groundwater is present within an excavation, specifically for manhole braces and walers for excavations up to two levels of frame.
Groundforce explained that the upgrade allows customers to input a depth of groundwater as a value of Metres Below Ground Level (mBGL). It caters for groundwater up to 1m above formation level, depending on the excavation depth, and is split between 0.5m and 1.0m design packs.
The programme provides a step-by-step process to allow customers to obtain documented temporary works designs in line with the requirements of BS5975. Access is available on mobile devices and desktops from the Groundforce website.
