Work underway on second phase of Taylor Wimpey Wallyford development

TAYLOR Wimpey East Scotland has commenced work on phase two of its Ravensheugh development in Wallyford.

It will see the build of 149 new homes off Futures Way, with it providing two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Phase two also includes the delivery of a new primary school, proposed new secondary school, local centre and community woodland along with foot and cycle connections to Wallyford and the local train station.

Pauline Mills, land and planning director at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said, “We are so pleased to be starting the construction of our second development in Wallyford, which further cements our commitment to the wider East Lothian area. Ravensheugh will continue to provide residents from around the local area with a wide selection of homes, while also offering great commutable routes to Edinburgh and the wider area.

“As one of the largest housebuilders in the UK, we are committed to building more than homes and making sure that we add social, economic and environmental value to the wider communities that we operate in.”

Jonathan Brindle on behalf of East Lothian Developments, added, “East Lothian Developments have been delighted by the success of phase one of the Taylor Wimpey Ravensheugh development and the positive impact those houses have had at the entrance to St Clements. We welcome the start of phase two and look forward to more new homeowners shortly having the opportunity to benefit both from the Taylor Wimpey homes and the wider facilities that are now being completed at St Clements.”
