THE first batch of properties in the build of 22 new council homes in the Standhill area of Bathgate have been handed over to West Lothian Council.
Built by Hadden Group, the development ranges from one and two bedroom cottage flats to four bedroom houses and bungalows – each of which is designed for people with disabilities who require accessible housing.
Councillor George Paul, executive councillor for services for the community at West Lothian Council, commented, “Delivering high quality, affordable homes are a key priority for the council. These new homes in Bathgate certainly match that description and I hope the first tenants moving into this development will enjoy life in their new homes.”
