PRE-construction work has started on Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s Auldcathie View development of 101 new homes, the location of which sits within the Winchburgh masterplan.
The development will provide 46 three and four-bedroom private homes, as well as 55 affordable homes in a mix of two-bedroom cottage flats and three-bedroom terraced homes together with the associated infrastructure such as roads, parking and open space.
Auldcathie View forms part of phase 2 of the wider Winchburgh masterplan which, when complete, will deliver at least 3,800 new homes, improved transport links, job opportunities, and schools. Outdoor spaces will include a new canal marina, the creation of Auldcathie District Park, and a new motorway junction.

It signals the initial stage of our first development in Winchburgh since 2018, and it will provide buyers with a wide selection of homes, as well as great commutable routes to Edinburgh and the wider area.
“There are several months of pre-construction works to complete before we can finalise the timescales of when we will start building our new homes, however we expect that will be in early 2022 and we will continue to update the local community with our plans.
