MORAY Council has approved plans for the build of 48 homes in Hopeman and 25 affordable homes in Lhanbryde.
Tulloch of Cummingston is behind the development in Hopeman, which will include affordable housing and the possibility of a care home setting.
Grampian Housing Association’s Lhanbryde plans will see the build of 25 one and two-storey homes, as well as two-storey cottages and a further eight units being reserved for specialist housing.
Chair of the planning and regulatory services committee, councillor David Bremner, said, “Developments like these are taking a holistic approach when introducing new communities to Moray. Including amenities for residents of all ages and provision for future generations is vital to ensuring a development is sustainable.
“The committee has recognised that when approving these particular developments and we look forward to seeing the communities flourish with their new residents.”
