GEZE UK has revised its RIBA-approved CPD, titled Specifying, Installing and Maintaining Ironmongery for Fire Doors.
The completely revised CPD includes new visuals and updates to regulations. It identifies the various components of fire doors and explains how they work, the standards and regulations which surround them, and why smoke is so dangerous.
The 40-minute seminar is intended for chartered members of RIBA but is also suitable for facilities managers, property managers and architectural ironmongers.
It can be presented in person or virtually via online platforms.
National specification manager Richard Richardson-Derry said, “Understanding the effectiveness of fire doors, where they can be placed and how they should be maintained, could ultimately save people’s lives.”
