MAPP appointed to manage Scotland’s largest trading estate

FRASERS Property UK has appointed MAPP to handle all facilities and property management services at Hillington Park trading estate.

The move, which consolidates property management services across Frasers’ business parks portfolio, follows several recent development announcements at Hillington Park, including completion dates for the 133,000 sq ft West 100 & 200 project and the start of the £1.9 million redevelopment of warehousing facilities at Carnegie Road.

Grant Edmondson, commercial director at Hillington Park, said, “With the sales programme concluded and a significant amount of new industrial and logistics development due to complete next year the timing was right to appoint MAPP to take over the property management at Hillington Park. As we push forward our growth plans, we look forward to working with the MAPP team to deliver high levels of service performance and a great working environment for both Frasers Property and our occupiers.”

MAPP currently manages around £13.2 billion of commercial property and 8,500 occupiers throughout the UK.

Lynne Keenan, MAPP executive director and head of Scotland, added, “We are delighted to be drawing on our experience in managing market-leading, vibrant business locations to help ensure that Frasers Property can deliver on their exciting plans for Hillington Park. The site is a major hub for trade, engineering and business services sectors and acts as a ‘mini town’ including everything from cafés, pubs and coffee shops to gyms and an on-site nursery.”
