EIGHT businesses from south west Scotland are participating in the twelfth hub South West Building for Growth (BfG) programme.
The initiative gives local firms the chance to learn from business experts and develop relationships with non-competing peer companies as well as Tier 1 Contractors.
hub South West is guiding the eight businesses in their quest to win more work from the main contractors undertaking projects in the region.
The eight participating businesses are: Parker Technical Services from Uddingston, Airdrie’s Claymore Training, Anderson Property from Hamilton, Emtec Group from Kilmarnock, and Dumfriesshire based businesses James G Findlay, Shaw Contract Group, L Murray Builders, and Qubiti Limited.
The online programme is already underway and will feature eight half-day sessions covering topics such as: Leadership and Management, Business Strategy, Tendering and Procurement, Digital Marketing and Social Media, Cyber Security and Business Finance, as well as enabling Ongoing Business Support and Development.

We look forward our BfG participants learning all they can from the eight weeks and look forward to hearing how the knowledge they gained successfully transformed their offerings to Tier 1 contractors throughout the southwest Scotland region.”
