Soben strengthens senior EMEA team with double appointment

GLASGOW-headquartered quantity surveying and commercial management consultancy Soben has made two new appointments to its EMEA senior team.

Derek McFarlane joins as EMEA director of consultancy – building & places, while James Tucker joins as EMEA infrastructure consultancy director.

McFarlane joins from Multiplex, where he held the position of commercial director.

Tucker joins from Currie & Brown where he was director, infrastructure division.

Soben revealed it is targeting growth to 250 staff in EMEA and 500 staff globally by the end of 2023. The business currently employs 150 staff.
