CBRE has announced that it has made a key appointment in its Glasgow advisory and transaction services team.
Martin Spiers has joined the real estate advisor as an associate director and will be based in the Glasgow office. He joins from Cushman and Wakefield, where he spent the last seven years working within the business space agency team.
Most recently he advised Castleforge Partners on several transactions at the Garment Factory in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Other notable deals include acquisitions on behalf of Cigna, Peninsula Business Services, Lloyds Register, Ceridian and most recently Isio Group. Martin’s other key clients included Ardstone, AEW, BMO Real Estate Partners and Legal and General IM.
In his new role with CBRE, Martin will join the advisory and transaction services team in Glasgow, working with clients in the office sector undertaking development, agency, occupier consultancy and tenant representation.
Martin said, “I enjoyed my time at Cushman & Wakefield but I’m thrilled to be joining CBRE, it represents an exciting new challenge for me. I am looking forward to working with new people and seeing how the office world continues to re-emerge from the pandemic.
