STEPHEN Lewis has been announced as the new vice-chair of the Scottish Property Federation (SPF).
MD of HFD Property Group, Stephen has over 25 years’ commercial property experience in both the public and private sectors and in recent years has been responsible for a number of office developments across Scotland. He also played a key role in building public and private sector collaboration with both the Glasgow Development Forum and with the Glasgow City Centre Task Force, set up to shape the city’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Stephen will support current SPF chair, Kevin Robertson, MD of KR Developments, during his tenure before assuming the role of chair in spring 2022.
Stephen Lewis commented, “I am delighted to take on the role of vice-chair of the Scottish Property Federation and look forward to working with Kevin and the team. As we look to rebuild from the Covid-19 pandemic there has never been a more important time for the real estate industry in Scotland – there will be challenges and opportunities presented by the ‘new normal’ and we must address these whilst continuing our move towards a carbon neutral future.
“My career to date has been built on working collaboratively with all parties to achieve our shared goals and I will bring this approach to my role with the SPF.”
