DOORS and windows manufacturer Origin has unveiled its new OS-29 (Patio Slider).
The sliding door is described as the slimmest semi-dry glaze system in the UK, featuring a 29mm sightline.
The OS-29 joins the OS-44 and OS-77 (with 44mm and 77mm sightline options respectively) in the Origin portfolio.
The company said the design follows market feedback wanting slimmer sightlines, easier transport options and a more straightforward installation in comparison to wet glazed systems.
The product offers the same maximum sizes as the OS-44 and OS-77, but smaller minimum sizes, meaning it can be installed into a wider range of properties.
Built from a high-grade aluminium, Origin added that the OS-29 is designed to maximise light coming into the home. MD Daniel Baker said, “At Origin, we always aim to be at the forefront of innovation, challenging industry norms, and making the lives of our partners as simple as possible. When our customers called for a nimble and easily transportable sliding door, we answered.”
