SAVILLS development team is launching what it describes as an ‘extremely rare and impressive’ portfolio of development plots to the market on the Isle of Arran.
The line-up comprises sites providing a total land holding of approximately 30.27 acres. The majority have current or historic planning consent or lie within the ‘general urban area’.
The 10 sites are located throughout Arran and have an indicative capacity of 110 residential units, together with additional expansion land with the potential to accommodate further units.
According to Savills, there is significant demand for housing on the island from existing residents and affordable housing operators, as well as second home owners and investors in tourist accommodation.
Emma Biggin of Savills said, “Rural and coastal locations across the UK have experienced an exceptional surge in demand since the pandemic began. Arran is no exception and we are currently witnessing significant interest in the market for residential properties and plots. A closing date is likely to be set, so interested parties are advised to register their interest early.”
