KNIGHT Property Group has revealed that environmental consultant Jax Asbestos Solutions will be the first tenant at Phase 1 of the new Langlands Commercial Park in East Kilbride.
The business has agreed a ten-year lease on Unit 1D, which extends to 2,500 sq ft. Jax has more than 20 years’ experience of asbestos removal projects in Scotland and around the UK.
Langlands Commercial Park (Phase 1) is a 10-unit speculative industrial development facility, which achieved completion last month.
Sean Cameron, asbestos specialist of Jax Asbestos Solutions, said, “Our business continues to grow and develop and we were looking to expand. Connectivity and communication links were key business requirements and Langlands was able to deliver the perfect solution, along with top quality industrial space.”
Howard Crawshaw, director of Knight Property Group, added, “Securing our first tenant at Langlands is a positive boost for the park and we have strong interest in several of the remaining units. Our ongoing strategy of investment and speculative development of quality industrial space is proving popular with occupiers across the Scottish market.”
