Housebuilder unveils final phase of homes at Cathkin View site

CRUDEN Homes has revealed that the final phase of homes has been released for sale at its Cathkin View development in Glasgow’s south side.

The last 16 homes have been unveiled months ahead of schedule to match the ‘huge level’ of demand since Phase 4 was launched in January of this year, the company stated. The latest properties are available for purchase off-plan.

The three-bedroom homes are priced at £186,000. Buyers can choose from a selection of kitchens, fitted wardrobes and tiling, together with monobloc driveways and turfed back and front gardens.

The Scottish Government’s First Home Fund, which contributes up to £25,000 towards the cost of buying a property through a shared equity scheme, is also available to support eligible buyers at the development.

Liz Mallon, sales and marketing director, said, “The Cathkin View development has been a huge success. It’s just over a year ago since we first marketed the development and we now only have 16 homes available to buy. We have seen soaring demand since the last lockdown with so many people re-evaluating what their home means to them. A lovely community has developed and our new homeowners have told us that they are enjoying the extra indoor and outdoor space their new homes offer.

“The development has the advantage of being within easy reach of the city centre and well connected to local travel links. I expect the remaining properties to be snapped up within weeks.”
