A new Glasgow city centre office building called Framework has been launched following a major refurbishment project.
The building provides 36,460 sq ft of office space over seven levels. Shelborn Asset Management bought it in 2019 and has appointed CBRE and Ryden as letting agents.
Framework now boasts a new reception with seating area, a basement gym, shower and changing facilities, a cycle storage area with maintenance station and a full new external frontage.
The building is fibre-enabled and to reduce carbon emissions, it is 100% electric from renewable sources and includes electric car charging stations.
The refurbishment project team included building contractor akp Scotland, interior designer Graven, and engineer DSSR.
Hannah Lowe from CBRE said, “We’re very excited to launch a building of this class and scale in Glasgow city centre, especially at a time when the amount of high quality, well-located office accommodation in Glasgow remains in short supply. To complete the extensive refurbishment project during a period with plenty of restrictions has been challenging and the fantastic end result is testament to the hard work of the team. I’m confident that the truly contemporary design will attract some high calibre tenants.”
