ROBERTSON Homes has expanded its presence in the east of Scotland with the purchase of two new sites with a combined development value of £45 million.
The firm acquired seven-and-a-half acres in East Calder in late November and six acres in Winchburgh last month (December).
Robertson said 123 new homes will be delivered on the two sites over the course of the next two years, with construction already underway.
At East Calder, 70 four and five-bedroom homes will be delivered, as well as a new school, community hubs, parks and transport links. While 53 homes will come at Winchburgh, including four, five and six-bedroom properties as well as a new secondary school campus, a primary school, marina and upgraded transport links.
John Murphy, managing director at Robertson Homes, said, “Robertson already has a good reputation and brand awareness in the East of Scotland and these two acquisitions are perfect sites and locations for us.
“Both developments form part of existing residential development master plans, offering excellent commuter links to Edinburgh and great local amenities, including good schools for growing families.
“The village locations are an ideal setting for our design-focussed family homes and will offer buyers large living spaces and plenty of open, outdoor green space to enjoy.”
